57th anniversary of the March on Washington

August 28, 2020

Under a scorching sun and unforgiving humidity, thousands gathered to commemorate that iconic march 57 years ago in the very same place.

“I’m tired of looking at cameras and seeing these young Black and brown people suffer… we are not taking it anymore,” said the father of Jacob Blake who was shot seven times by cops in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Some said this week and last year and for the past 400 years that America was never racist. That is a lie but we can decide to change that every single day.
